How It Works

Step 1: Expert Consultation

Your skincare journey begins with a detailed analysis from one of our trained professionals using the AlmaIQ skin care analysis system. The AlmaIQ Skin Analysis System is a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool that uses advanced imaging technology and artificial intelligence to assess skin health with exceptional precision. In just minutes, AlmaIQ captures high-resolution facial images and analyzes multiple skin parameters—including texture, pigmentation, pore size, wrinkles, hydration, and redness—providing a comprehensive and objective skin profile. This data-driven approach allows skincare professionals to create truly customized treatment plans and skincare regimens based on each patient’s unique skin needs. It's an essential tool for patients seeking targeted, results-oriented skincare solutions.

Step 2: Ingredient Selection

From Universkin’s library of 19 active ingredients, we select up to three that best suit your unique needs. These may include:

Vitamin C & Niacinamide for brightening and evening skin tone
Hyaluronic Acid for deep hydration and plumping
Salicylic Acid for acne-prone skin
Omega 3s and Chamomile for calming redness and inflammation
Retinol or Peptides for anti-aging support

Step 3: Your Custom Formula

We blend your ingredients into a clean, preservative-free serum base—on-site at JOLA Aesthetics. The result is a potent, targeted skincare solution that evolves with your skin. Most patients revisit every 6–8 weeks to adjust their formula as needed. At each visit we re-scan your skin using the AlmaIQ system and adjust your formula accordingly.  

The program is remarkably simple and affordable. You’ll get an AM and PM serum to apply so there are not countless bottles to keep straight. The serums are compounded at our Medical Spa during your consult and adjusted using the AlmaIQ analysis at each visit.
