Many men suffer from excessively large breasts.  This condition is called gynecomastia.  Gynecomastia can be caused by hormonal imbalances, medications, or a predisposition to gain fat in the chest.  Gynecomastia can have a very negative impact on a person's self image.
Fortunately, gynecomastia can be easily treated with liposuction or a combination of liposuction and glandular excision.  Male breast tissue can be very difficult to remove with simple liposuction, therefore ultrasound assisted liposuction is used to dissolve the fat and breast tissue to allow for easier and smoother removal.  In many cases, redundant breast tissue will be removed with a small curved incision just inside the areolar (peri-areolar incision).
