They are popular and seem to enjoy a “cult” following among some surgeons. In my opinion, Sientra implants feel the firmest as the silicone elastomer coat feels thicker. Sientra devices come in 6 profiles: low, low plus, moderate, moderate plus, high, and extra high profiles. Keep in mind, at this time Sientra does not offer an option for saline breast implants but does offer textured surfaces as an option.
Sientra Warranty
Sientra was the first company to offer a capsular contracture warranty and has a robust warranty that competes with Allergan and Mentor manufacturers. Because they are a smaller company, they don't yet offer the rewards like that of Allergan and Mentor. Overall, because of its long history of performance, durability and innovation, Sientra continues to be an industry leader in the top 4 manufacturers.
