Liposuction

Liposuction is a body shaping procedure and not intended as a weight loss alternative.  Using delicate surgical instruments, unwanted fat is removed through tiny incisions to sculpt the body.  Common areas that respond well to liposuction are the neck, arms, abdomen, love handles, back, and thighs.

Tummy Tuck

Abdominoplasty

Fat around the lower abdomen often responds well to removal with a tummy tuck procedure.  The incision is concealed below the “bikini line” and excess skin and fat from the belly button to the pubic area is removed.  If necessary, the abdominal muscle is tightened internally to trim the waist and give an hourglass figure.  Depending on the wants and needs of each patient, tummy tucks can be tailored as standard, mini, or extended tummy tuck procedures.

Mommy Makeover

Pregnancy can cause many unwanted body changes such as diminished breast size with ptosis (sagging), excess fat and skin of the lower abdomen, and fat deposition around the hips and thighs.  The “Mommy Makeover” refers to any combination of procedure to address these changes, such as breast augmentation, breast lift, liposuction, and tummy tuck.  These procedures can be combined in a single operation to restore a woman’s pre-pregnancy figure.

Massive Weight Loss

Obesity has reached epidemic proportions in the United States.  Diet, exercise, and new weight loss procedures have produced many patients who have lost dramatic amounts of weight.  Massive weight loss patients have unique plastic surgery needs because of the excess skin which remains after weight loss.  These procedures are numerous and tailored specifically for the wants and needs of each individual patient.

Butt Augmentation

Gluteoplasty

Butt augmentation is designed to restore both volume and shape to the buttocks.  Liposuction is used to collect fat from unwanted areas such as the abdomen, love handles, or thighs.  This fat is specially treated and then injected into areas of the butt where volume is needed.

Arm Lift

Brachioplasty

Excess skin and fat in the upper arms is a concern for many patients and can cause problems with fitted clothing.  Skin and fat can be removed through a carefully placed incision on the inner arm.  For patients with minimal fat and good skin quality, liposuction can be a scarless alternative.

Thigh Lift

The inner thigh area can be a concern for many patients and can cause problems such as rashes due to constant rubbing of the skin.  Removing skin and fat through a well concealed incision in the groin crease can lift, slim, and shape the thigh.  An inner thigh incision is sometimes needed to tighten the thigh and create space between the thighs.  For patients with minimal fat and good skin quality, liposuction can be a scarless alternative.
